Job Summary:

RP WEBSITES AND APPS PVT LTD is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will ensure the performance, integrity, and security of our Oracle databases while driving innovation through database optimization and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Install, configure, upgrade Oracle databases; manage instances and backups.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor/tune performance, optimize queries/indexes.
• Troubleshooting: Provide support and issue resolution with IT/developers.
• Security & Compliance: Implement access control, audits, and encryption policies.
• Data Management: Ensure data integrity, archiving, retention.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation and reports.
• Automation: Use scripts for maintenance and scalability planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Experience: Proven Oracle DBA experience
• Skills: SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN, ASM, Data Guard, performance tuning, security
• Certifications (Preferred): Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Certified Expert (OCE)
